The Matza Bakery can be altered to suit any age range, from kindergarten to senior citizens.

45 min - 1 hour

Cost:

£150 for half a day (up to 3 groups), £250 for a full day. Plus £2 per participant.

About the workshop:

The Matzah Bakery allows students to bake their very own matzah. Each participant is given his or her own hat and apron to keep. They now look like real bakers ready to start! Winnowing and separating the wheat kernels: grinding the grain in a hand driven wheat mill specially imported from France: Sifting the flour, making the dough and then baking their own matzos, all under the pressure of the 18 minutes time limit. One feels like one’s in a real Matzah Bakery with the separate flour and water cubicles.
